Non-contact automatic thickness measuring device for organic specimens

CheckLITEInstantaneous control, through laser technology, of histological specimen thickness directly
in the cassette: world’s first device to automatically signal whether a specimen in the cassette is within the selected 2, 3, 4 or 5 mm thickness.
A green light signals that the specimen is within the desired thickness range.
A red light signals that the specimen is greater than the desired thickness, and must be re-cut.

CheckLITE - As simple as a traffic light

  • Set the required thickness (in mm) of the specimen
  • Set the type of cassette (standard – mega)
  • Place the cassettes with specimen in the measuring spot
  • The green light is ON. The specimen is at the preset or less. GO
  • The red light is ON. Specimen is above the preset value.
    STOP Specimen needs either to be recut or directed to a different
    histoprocessing run
