Module
Homogeneous distribution of temperature in all BEEM capsules is assured by immersing them in a temperature controlled bath with magnetic stirring.

The Controller

Industrial grade touch-screen controller with 10.4” color display. Automatic “on-line” temperature control. Temperature is controlled on-line not simply monitored through an external PC. No microwave power programs are required.
Power is automatically controlled to follow the preset curve. Simply recall prestored protocols or easily create a new file for specific requirements.

Safety of each and every specimen is our priority

The HISTOS REM software will turn off microwave power whenever the actual temperature display differs ± 5°C from the preset temperature, to avoid damage to specimens.
To protect HISTOS REM programs from improper use specific passwords for user, administrator and service have been assigned.

• User - Can only operate unit with preset programs, extend/shorten heating times.
• Administrator - Can define all types of programs and settings
• Service - For control and repair unit through built-in diagnostic routines

Select prestored procedure. (User defined protocols can be easily set up and stored).
All steps are visualized on the screen. The active step blinks in red. Press to activate.
Prestored step (e.g. primary fixation) is shown for the required time at temperature curve. Press START.
The unit will automatically follow the prestored temperature curve for reliable, consistent processing results.
The next step will now blink red. Press to activate.
The same sequence will be repeated for all steps Operator is not required to be in attendance at all time A buzzer will sound when procedure is completed
At the end of the step, the software will request user to save or print procedure for Q.A. documentation.

Histos REM is more than a dedicated processor for EM

To expand the Histos REM applications, special software programs have been added to operate with the histomodules developed for the Histos family of histoprocessors.
With such modules, the Histos REM can now carry out microwave enhanced:

• Decalcification
• Fixation
• Histoprocessing (paraffin) up to 30 cassettes
• Histochemical Staining up to 12 slides
