Fixation is a critical step in the processing of histologic samples. Participants
will review key factors involving fixation. Learn how to use laboratory microwaves to ensure complete
fixation with a reduction in specimen turn-around time.

Processing of Small Biopsy samples can be easily performed using laboratory microwaves.
This will allow your facility to provide Same-Day Results to the clinicians. It also will provide a Lean
Workflow for you laboratory. Participants will review key factors involving processing samples from 1 to 3mm
thick. Discussion will include reagent selection, processing protocols and instrumentation.
